At SMC we use only the latest machinery and software.  With a recent investment of £205k on new machinery, SMC continually strives to invest in modern technology to provide the best possible results for all our customers.

Faster cycle times, improved accuracy and greater surface finish all come with new machinery and that is at the forefront of why investment is key.  It doesn’t matter whether we are machining from a simple drawing or creating a replica of a sample part, the latest machinery is key to achieving excellent results. 

As part of our continued investment, we have spanned into five axis, simultaneous machining. Technology which enables us to carry out very complex procedures with ease. This is a philosophy SMC are committed too as we have seen the benefits of re-investment not only in plant and equipment but in our staff too.
